I think the male Painted Bunting is the most beautiful bird found in North America. They are a member of the Cardinal family. It can be found in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Okahoma, Arkansas, Lousiana, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Mexico. I photographed this Painted Bunting on my 2012 trip to McAllen, Texas.
