Waterton National Park, Canada
The Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park is the union of the Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada and the Glacier National Park in the United States. Both parks are declared Biosphere Reserves by UNESCO and their union as a World Heritage Site.
Waterton National Park is located in Alberta Canada. The park borders Glacier National Park in Montana together making up the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park. Within Waterton National Park you can see the snowcapped Rocky Mountains pristine lakes and an abundant of wildlife.
Glacier National Park
Glacier National Park is located in the state of Montana. The park includes 1 million acres, two mountain ranges, one hundred and thirty lakes, one thousand different plants and one hundred species of animals.
Lake McDonald is the largest lake in Glacier National Park. The lake is about ten miles long and four hundred and seventy-two feet deep.
Logan Pass is located on the Continental Divide in Glacier National Park. It is the highest point on the “Going to the Sun Road”.
