The last time I was at the Fairgrounds was 1965. I was with my parents visiting the 1964-1965 World’s Fair. Being there brought back lots of memories. I can still taste those Belgium Waffles stuffed with whipped cream. I remember the exhibits depicting the future which are now part of our daily lives. The most iconic landmark was the sphere in the center of the fair.
