Monksville Reservoir is located in Long Pond Ironworks State Park, New Jersey. It is an artificial lake created in 1987 by damming on the Wanaque River in West Milford, New Jersey. It is named after the former community of Monksville, which was relocated and flooded upon its completion.

The Babcock Grist Mill is located in Babcock State Park, West Virginia. It is a fully operable replica of the Glade Creek Grist Mill. The mill was rebuilt by using parts from three other mills from West Virginia. The mill was built to remind us of a lifestyle that has past.
